This fund has been managed for many years by the trust from the patent proceeds of the cancer treatment drug discovered during cancer research by Dr. Yoshinori Kidani (an honorary professor at Nagoya City University, and a brother in law of Ms. Masayo Kidani who is the representative of MOMIJI). This trust fund has been assisting cancer-related hospitals, research institutes, researchers, and other projects which the trustees support.

MOMIJI has received financial assistance from the KIDANI MEMORIAL FUND after 2002. Prior to that, periodical activities could not be achieved because the financial source was only from donations and the sales income of bazaars.
